How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find The Rationalist, and tap Cancel Subscription.

Android: Open the Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find The Rationalist, and tap Cancel.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Open the app, go to the Upgrade screen or Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription will be restored automatically if you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account.

Is my data stored online?

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable Cloud Sync by signing in with Google or Apple, your progress is also backed up to our secure cloud servers so you can sync across devices. You can sign out at any time to stop syncing. See our account deletion page to request removal of cloud data.

What is Rumi AI?

Rumi AI is your scholarly companion for Quran study, available to Pro subscribers. It answers questions about the Quran, Islamic theology, history, and ethics using insights from 22 referenced scholars. Your conversations are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. All 365 days of content are included in the app. Reading, reflections, and quizzes work fully offline. Only Rumi AI requires an internet connection.

I found an error in the content. How do I report it?

We appreciate your help in improving the app. Please email us at support@therationalistapp.com with the day number and a description of the issue.
